Welcome to the Berkeley Heights
Police Department’s Website
On November 4, 2016, The Berkeley Heights Police Department will begin full deployment of body-worn cameras (BWCs).
The Berkeley Heights Police Department is committed to providing the finest quality police services to this great community. In order to achieve this goal we strive to work with all community stakeholders.
Our department consists of a Patrol Division, an Internal Affairs Unit and a Support Services Division; which includes Investigations, Community Policing, Traffic Safety and Records. Our local dispatch center and school crossing guards also operate under the purview of the police department. The dispatch center is responsible for receiving all 911 and non-emergency police-related calls and walk-in reports, as well as police, fire and rescue squad dispatching.
With the support of the governing body, this department is committed to meeting the highest level of professional standards. We believe we can accomplish this by not only investing in the latest equipment and technology, but by also investing in our officers and civilian support staff by providing them the best available training. I am extremely proud of the professionalism of the men and women that make up this organization and their commitment to the community they serve.
We welcome your input and encourage you to visit our website in order to learn more about us and the services we provide.
